• What is InvestPlex?

    InvestPlex is an online investment advisor registered with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) that helps individuals around the world on investing in the stock market following a disciplined approach based on a diversified asset allocation and ETF investing.

  • What is an ETF?

    ETFs have been available in the US since 1993 and their popularity is growing exponentially. ETFs have gone from $600 million in 2000 to $1.3 trillion in assets in 2012. In simple terms, ETFs are a pool of prepackaged securities (e.g. bonds, stocks, commodities, and reits) that replicate the composition and performance of specific sectors or industries in the market. They trade like a stock and offer the diversification of a mutual fund.

  • What is Asset Allocation?

    Asset Allocation is the process of how you allocate your investments between different asset classes (i.e. stocks, bonds, commodities) to balance risk and reward in accordance to your unique investments goals.

  • Why diversify?

    The idea behind diversification is to select investments that move differently under the same market conditions in order to reduce the volatility (risk) of the overall portfolio.

  • How InvestPlex knows which investment portfolio is best for me?

    InvestPlex will guide you through a 5-step process to create your own personalized investment portfolio. Your new portfolio will be based on a few risk-assessment questions such as return objective, time horizon, age, etc. Depending on how you answer those questions, a unique portfolio tailored just for you will be suggested.

  • How to create an InvestPlex account?

    Go to investplex.com, click on try it free, fill out your email address and choose a password. Every new customer has a 3-month free trial, when the trial ends you need to select a monthly ($8.99) or yearly subscription ($85.99).

  • What payment methods does InvestPlex accept?

    InvestPlex accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

  • Do I need to add funds to my InvestPlex account?

    No. At Investplex we don’t have custody of your assets and do not trade in your investment accounts. InvestPlex is an online investment advisor that provide its investment strategies to its Clients for implementation by the Client wherever they maintain their investment accounts. InvestPlex is compatible with any online or traditional broker-dealer, investment platform or private banking unit inside or outside the United States.

  • What if I don’t have any brokerage account open?

    There is plenty of online brokers in the U.S. where you can open an account in order to start using InvestPlex. (e.g. Fidelity, Ameritrade, Etrade, Charles Schwab, Merril Edge, Tradeking and so on). InvestPlex does not endorse, recommend, or make representations with respect to the research or services from any of the online brokers mentioned.

  • Cancel my subscription

    You may cancel at any time within your 30 day trial or monthly subscription. You will maintain your access to InvestPlex up until the subscription term expires. After the subscription expires your account will become inactive (you can not create or review your portfolio), and you will not be billed.

  • What happens to my portfolio after canceling my subscription?

    Despite being inactive, your portfolio, trade history and performance will be in our servers until you decide to either re-subscribe to InvestPlex or delete your account.

  • Re-subscribe to InvestPlex

    You can re-subscribe to InvestPlex and become active anytime if you like, but you won’t receive a second free trial.

  • Delete my account

    Deleting your account can not be undone. All your portfolios will be deleted, your subscription will be canceled and no grace-period will be given.
